AIRPORTS
Byron Bay is serviced by the Ballina Airport which is only a 30 minute drive north and just 45 minute drive south from the Gold Coast Airport. Jetstar, Virgin and Rex airlines all fly to these destinations. A brief 90-minute commute from Brisbane.  

PARKING
Parking is limited on race day. Bay Street and a section of Lawson Street from Clarkes Beach carpark to the corner of Middleton Street roundabout will be closed off to parking to the general public on race day from 6.00am – 5.00pm 10 May, 2008. Parking is available in the various side streets.

TOILETS
Toilets are located for participants and general public use at the surf club on Bay Street, there are also toilets/showers located within the registration hall, and these amenities are for the use of participants.
