FIELD LIMIT
The Byron Bay Triathlon has a strict field limit. Closing dates are indicative only. As entries may close earlier if this field limit is reached before the closing date.
MEDICARE NUMBER
You will be asked to provide your Medicare Number on the entry form. This is optional however highly recommended. Medicare Numbers are required by all hospitals prior to admittance. If you supply our medical team with this information they will be able to process your admittance quickly should you require transportation to hospital during the event.
ENTRIES OPEN
Entries will be open on 15th January, 2008 from 9.00 AM
EARLY BIRD ENTRIES
Are available up to 5pm on Friday 29th February, 2008.
LATE ENTRIES
Late entries will be available after 5pm Friday 1st March, 2008 until 5pm Friday 2nd May, 2008.
ENTRY CLOSING DATES
Individual Registration – Friday 2nd May, 2008 at 5.00 pm (unless field fills earlier)
Team Registration – Friday 2nd May, 2008 at 5.00 pm (unless field fills earlier)
(If sending entry via post, must be received by Friday 2nd May, 2008, no responsibility taken for entries not being received by this date).
No receipts of payment will be mailed out, unless a self addressed stamped envelope is included. Race confirmation will be emailed if a clearly printed email address is provided. One member per team only.
All entry fees are non-refundable after 5pm on Friday 11th April 2008. Withdrawals after 5pm on Friday 11th April 2008 will be rolled-over to the 2009 Byron Bay Triathlon unless a medical certificate supports the withdrawal reason, then a refund will be given minus a $25 administration fee. Withdrawals must be made by mail, PO Box 579 Byron Bay NSW 2481.
Entries are non-transferable.
PRIZES AND AWARDS
Great prizes to be given to the first three place getters in all individual and team categories. Plus top quality random prize draw at the presentation, must be present to accept the prize.
ELITE PRIZE MONEY
Equal Male and Female. 1st $1500 2nd $500 3rd $250 (GST Inc.)
RACE KIT
All individual competitors and teams receive a race bag including official race singlet, and other merchandise items.
